5 days until THE BIG DAY!

Today Tori went to the dr for her weekly checkup. She is still only dialated to 2 cms but she is 100% effaced, meaning she is totally thinned out.
The dr was going to talk to them about inducing the week of the 31st, but Russ asked if they could do it sooner since he is being deployed again on Sept 8th. So the dr agreed to induce Tori on Tuesday August 25th! Tori was so excited!! She can finally see the light at the end of the "baby tunnel"!

Tuesday, August 25th at 7:30am, they will go to the hospital! I will keep everyone posted!

We can't wait to meet baby Sadie!

38 &1/2 weeks!

Here we are, less than 2 weeks away from the due date!! Today Tori went to the dr to be checked. She is still at 2 cm, but 75% effaced. The dr. seemed to think that Sadie is just a bit smaller than 8 lbs!
We are hoping that Sadie will join our world safely & strong & SOON!!

3 weeks until the due date!!

Thursday Tori went to the dr to be checked. She is dialated 2 cm & 50% effaced. She is measuring 38 weeks. The dr said it could be anyday!!! We are waiting, but I won't say we are waiting patiently. I am having dreams about labor...but it's not ME (Katy) in labor!!

Here we are...34 weeks! We are 6 weeks (or less) from baby Sadie gracing us with her presence! On Saturday 11, we had a baby shower for Tori in Perry. She & Russ think they got everything they are going to need for Sadie. We all had a great time! Here are some pics of the shower!

Third Trimester!!

Here we go...the third trimester!! A picture of Tori at 28 weeks!

There was some concern with Tori's blood platelet count being slightly low (130,000) but they are keeping an eye on things & the count is stable.

The baby shower is July 11! Can't wait!

Today Tori had a 3D ultrasound. Russ was home for a while & they wanted to do that while he was home. Lana went too. Tori is 28 weeks along...the final trimester!

At first she had her back turned & all they could see was her ear. Then the lady pushed on her belly to get the baby to move. Then they were able to see her more clearly.

She has Tori's round face & chubby cheeks!

She was rubbing her head & sucking on the umbilical cord & once gave a big frown!

Lana thought it was pretty cool to "see" her little sister! Russ is already in love with her!

We can't wait to meet little Sadie Laine!
